Barbara understands the emotional toll of divorce, having recently navigated the end of her marriage. After the disintegration of the future she had imagined, she has taken the time to nurture the pain, heartache, and has learned to heal, grow, and embrace a new life of authenticity and confidence.

As a licensed paralegal, she has experience reaching resolutions between parties in the Ontario Court of Justice, Small Claims Court, and the Landlord Tenant Board. Her 20-years at the Canadian Press and Reuters news desks exposed her to the many traumas faced by people, deepening her empathic nature. She wrote and edited the new book – Hope by Terry Fox, interviewing over 50 people from Terry’s life, telling their stories to give people Hope, Belief and Faith that anyone can overcome any challenge by working together. 

Sara is a family lawyer practicing throughout the GTA having focussed entirely on family law since her call to the bar in 2015.

 

Through a unique blend of compassion, experience and creativity, she assists her clients navigating through the difficult process of separation and divorce. Sara assists clients throughout the dispute resolution process, whether that be in the courtroom or in a collaborative setting. Prior to entering law school, Sara was an avid soccer player and the Captain of the Wilfrid Laurier Varsity Women’s Soccer Team.

 

In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and her two huskies, Bandit and Ace.

Aron has been practicing family law exclusively since his call to the bar in 2016.

 

Aron attended York University where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts, with Honours. Aron then enrolled at Osgoode Hall Law School and received his Juris Doctor in 2015.

Recognizing that her passion for numbers outweighed her culinary ambitions, she returned to university to pursue a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Accounting and plans to obtain her CPA designation.
